Track: Let’s make something for real (Thursday)

Thursday Program

Special on Thursday: a FULL day session called “Let’s make something for real
Making something together is really cool and satisfying. This is a special all-day-long session where participants can make something. At a central location where you can go to during the conference just to let your hands do some work. It does not matter what your knowledge and experience is, everyone can contribute. This will be relaxing and useful at the same time!

We are working with the presenters to make this into an awesome day!

Track: Open space (Friday)

Friday Program

Special on Friday: a FULL day Open Space. This year we are dedicating an entire day and room to host an Open Space where you can all contribute or bring in your questions. If you haven’t heard about Open Space yet, you can read more about it here.

Agile Leadership track (Thursday & Friday)

As a community we will be working on developing a number of workshops with the subject “Agile Leadership”.

The created workshop materials:
• can be used by participants to develop Agile Leadership in organisations.
• will be made available after the conference under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license

Developing Effective Workshops

This workshop is intended to discover how to develop a training\workshop with an optimal learning experience. We will be using insights from “Training from the back of the room” and “Liberating Structures”.

The output of this session can be used as an input to start designing your own workshops and as inspiration to create the 3 workshops in the Leadership track

Goal of the session: Discover\create guidelines for creating effective workshops for an optimal learning experience

Organizational design with Sociocracy 3.0

This session is intended to create a Leadership workshop on organizational design. We will be using Sociocracy 3.0 (S3) patterns and practices (S3) to develop an Agile Culture.

Participating in this workshop means that you will help in creating an actual workshop. The precondition is that you have some experience with applying S3 or similar practices yourself.

The target group for this workshop is anyone with a Leadership role (SM’s, PO’s, but especially middle management), responsible for creating an Agile culture in his organization.

Goal of the session: Create a minimal viable workshop

Expected Experience: Practical application of Sociocracy 3.0 practices and\or patterns or similar practices

Max: 8 participants

Organizational design with Spiral Dynamics

This session is intended to create a Leadership workshop on organizational design. We will be using complex believe systems from Spiral Dynamics to develop an Agile Culture.

Participating in this workshop means that you will help in creating an actual workshop. The precondition is that you have some experience with applying Spiral Dynamics or similar practices yourself.

The target group for this workshop is anyone with a Leadership role (SM’s, PO’s, but especially middle management), responsible for creating an Agile culture in his organization.

Goal of the session: Create a minimal viable workshop

Expected Experience: Practical application of Spiral Dynamics or similar practices

Max: 8 participants

Change Management with Theory U

This session is intended to create a Leadership workshop on organizational change management. We will be using Theory U to help Agile Leaders deal with the typical change challenges they face.

Participating in this workshop means that you will help in creating an actual workshop. The precondition is that you have some experience with applying Theory U or similar practices yourself.

The target group for this workshop is anyone with a Leadership role (SM’s, PO’s, but especially middle management), responsible for managing Agile change in his organization.

Goal of the session: Create a minimal viable workshop

Expected Experience: Practical application of Theory U or similar practices
